The Verdict
Best for groups
The right call when the whole party needs one roof — reunions, landmark birthdays, even a small wedding. Priced for the privilege, and worth every euro.
The review
For a large group or multi-generational family, an exclusive-use estate solves a problem hotels can't: everyone under one roof, with the run of the place. The Liora Estate, set in gardens above Marbella's Golden Mile, is among the best we've reviewed in the format. Eight suites are spread across a main house and two pavilions, so there's privacy when you want it and a vast shared living space when you don't.
Taken whole, it comes with a full team — house manager, chefs, housekeeping, and a driver — plus a tennis court, gym, screening room, and two pools. The brief here is celebration: birthdays, reunions, even small weddings. It isn't cheap, and it isn't meant to be; what you pay for is the rare luxury of an entire estate, and its team, reserved for you alone.
